Finally made it to Bowling Green (BWG). Couldn't fly yesterday due to a weather system stalled over the area, causing quickly changing conditions including strong wind and thunder storms.

The take-off from Bluelick wasn't smooth. View the video and you'll see as soon as I was above the height of the houses and trees to the left of the (east - west) runway, the direct southerly crosswind hit hard. Notice the effects on the climb-out.

Airport management here has rolled out the red carpet. High speed internet access, RV electric hook-up, hangar for Voyager, courtesy van with a driver... we may never leave! Actually, weather may keep us here a few days. It's thundering and pouring outside right now. Next stop is Nashville.
