Packing up at Santa Fe

Had an aerial shoot scheduled for yesterday morning, but it rained all night and the wind never let up. Got to sleep late!

This morning was perfect for flight, so Voyager and a Cessna carrying Rusty, who is the "Junior" videographer when Tim isn't with us, took off. This was Rusty's first experience shooting from a plane, and he did very well. Next time we'll get a bit closer.

After the shoot we landed, and plan on spending the next few days decompressing before the last "push" that will take us out of the Rockies. The next leg, to Las Vegas (NM), takes us through a high pass, then one more after that, the Raton Pass, and we're through! Down hill all the way to the Applachians, which compared to what we've been flying over and around, are mere "bumps."

The staff of the Santa Fe airport has rolled out the red carpet for us, and we've met a lot of interesting people. I spent a few hours in the tower yesterday, and even listened to recordings of when I spoke with them. My radio finally works correctly! A relief.
