On the way to Winslow (INW) the winds started acting up again to the point where I decided to land on an old stretch of Route 66 at 2 Guns. (Yes, thats the real name of the place, and its listed on most maps.)

Hopes of flying over Meteor Crater and on to Winslow were dashed by high winds on the 29th. We spent the day exploring the abandoned business and campground, as well as hiking in the nearby canyon which has a large cave, inhabited on and off for the past thousand years. The area has a long history, and due to a massacre of Indians back in the 1800s, its supposed to be haunted. Sunset was beautiful.
