Took off from 2 Guns, flew over and around Meteor Crater for a while, and then on to Winslow, a town which everyone knows from the Eagles song. Its a friendly little town, and we received a warm reception from the people at the airport and the Chamber of Commerce.
Meteor Crater is quite awesome to view from the air. Ive stood on the rim a few times, but the true immensity of the crater, and its relationship to the surrounding plain are much more evident from an aerial perspective.
Rusty has been doing a fabulous job as back-up videographer. Tim says Rusty has a natural flair for it, and Rusty is definitely enjoying working the camera.
